Used Printer Price in Pakistan: Is That Second-Hand Printer Priced Fairly?

Search 'used printer price in Pakistan' and you will find the same HP model listed at wildly different prices on OLX, Facebook Marketplace and in Saddar. Some of that gap is condition, some is whether the seller has tested it, and some is simply what the seller hopes to get. This guide gives you real reference prices — what tested, imported units from our own listings sold for in September 2026 — and the checklist we use to price a second-hand printer, so you can judge any listing.

For comparison, a brand-new entry HP LaserJet 108a costs about PKR 38,500 and a new Laser MFP 136a about PKR 51,000 — so a used office laser at PKR 31,000 is usually a faster, better-built machine than a new printer at the same money. Five things that decide a used printer's price

• Model generation. An M404dn (2019) is worth more than an M401dn (2012) with the same speed because parts, drivers and toner will be around for longer. Very old models stay cheap because their parts are scarce.
• Lifetime page count. The single best indicator of wear. A desktop office laser at 20,000 pages has plenty of life left; one at 150,000 pages is near fuser and roller replacement. Our page-count guide shows how to read it on any HP, and how long a laser printer lasts explains which numbers matter.
• Features: automatic duplex, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and a document feeder each add real value. The letters in the model name tell you — d for duplex, n for network, w for Wi-Fi, f for fax.
• Toner availability and cost. A printer whose cartridge (05A, 26A, 59A, 78A, 80A, 12A) is sold and refilled everywhere is worth more than one with a rare or chipped cartridge. Check the cartridge before you check the price — see the HP toner guide.
• What the seller stands behind. A tested unit with a return window and a service warranty is worth several thousand rupees more than an 'as is' listing, because it removes the risk of a fuser or formatter failing in week two.

Signs a used printer is priced too low

• The seller cannot or will not print a configuration page showing the page count.
• The listing only shows a stock photo, or the printer is 'not tested, power on'.
• The cartridge is missing or 'needs refill' — a new cartridge can add a third of the printer's price.
• No return window at all, not even to test it at home for a day.
• It is an MFP at a mono-printer price — often the scanner or ADF is faulty.
