Editorial Policy
Our buying guides exist to help you pick the right printer, even when that means a cheaper model or one we don't stock. This page explains how they are written.

Who writes our guides
Every guide is written by Umair Mustafa, founder of Printerwaala, with input from the technicians at Future Technologies — a printer sales and repair shop on 6th Road, Rawalpindi since 2001. Advice on faults, toner and running costs comes from what we see on our own repair bench.
Where the facts come from
- Specifications (speed, duty cycle, toner yield, paper sizes) come from the manufacturer's official data sheets, such as HP Support.
- Prices come from our own live stock and what we pay for toner and parts in the twin cities.
- Condition claims (page counts, testing) describe the units we actually sell.
Keeping guides current
Printer prices in Pakistan change with the rupee and with import stock. We review guides when prices or stock change, and every guide shows the date it was published and last updated.
Independence
- No brand pays us to be recommended, and we don't use affiliate links.
- We do sell printers. Where a guide mentions a model we stock, we link to it — and we say so plainly when a model we don't stock is the better choice.
