Best Ink Tank Printers in Pakistan (2026): Epson, Canon and HP Compared

Ink tank printers made home colour printing cheap in Pakistan: instead of small cartridges, you refill tanks from bottles that print thousands of pages. Epson's EcoTank L-series, Canon's PIXMA G-series and HP's Smart Tank all work the same way, and they print, scan and copy. The differences are Wi-Fi, ink yield, age of the design and warranty. These are the six we stock, with prices from our listings in September 2026.

Ink tank printers compared

All six print at roughly 9–12 pages a minute in black and about 5 in colour at standard quality (the higher 'draft' figures on boxes are not comparable), print photos well on photo paper, and scan and copy with a flatbed. Yields are the manufacturers' rated figures.

Best value: Epson EcoTank L3110

The L3110 is the ink tank we recommend most for students and homes that print from one computer. It is the cheapest here, Epson 003 ink is sold in every market, and it is simple. Best for phones: Epson L3150 or L3250

If anyone in the house prints from a phone, pay the extra for Wi-Fi. The L3150 and L3250 both have Wi-Fi Direct, so a phone can print even without a router — useful for students sending assignments from WhatsApp (see how to print from WhatsApp). Canon PIXMA G2010: highest rated black yield

Canon rates the G2010's GI-790 black bottle at about 6,000 pages and each colour at about 7,000, the most generous black yield of the USB models here. It is a good alternative to the L3110 if you print more black than colour. It is USB-only; some regional units use GI-490 bottles instead of GI-790, so check the bottle number before buying ink.

Brand new with warranty: HP Smart Tank 585

How to keep an ink tank printer working

• Print at least one colour page a week. The print head is part of the printer, and a dried head is the most expensive ink-tank repair.
• Use the correct ink for your model and region — 003 for these Epsons, GI-790 (or GI-490) for the Canon, GT53/GT52 for the HP. Wrong or poor ink blocks heads.
• Keep ink above the lower line; running a tank dry pulls air into the lines.

Ink tank or laser?
